So on the same day that I declined an opportunity to broadcast one sport this summer (wasn’t an easy decision, but the right one), I received the chance to call another one - one I’ve never done before.
I’m going to be doing a Team Handball match between Army - the defending national college champions - and Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 11.
I don’t know that it’ll be the same as it is in Europe, from where the video below comes, but it looks like a fun sport.
So now I have two weeks to learn all I can about Team Handball. Righteous.

Awesome! You’ll need to tell us where we can find it (if at all).
When I go to Europe for work, invariably Team Handball is on. Sometimes it’s in another language, but sometimes there’s no commentary, which is a strange, but nice way to watch a game.

“And that guy with the ball jumps, and he throws the ball….kick save and a beauty…….and here’s another guy, and he’s running around with the ball…….he threw it…..now another guy has it…..he jumps really high outside that painted area, HE SCORED! Whoa!”
As long as it doesn’t go like that, you’ll be fine
Have fun!

Team Handball is a great sport. Was in Europe this past Olympics and watched a lot of it. Soccer using your hands. Just educate your viewers on scoring. Jumping. The crease, etc.
And just got back from Florida where Hollywood Beach hosted a tourney of Footvolley, which is volleyball without your hands. The players were all Brazilian, of course. Great stuff.

I agree with the others here. Kenn, please let us know the date, time and network for this broadcast.
