Well, that was fun. Ohio State won the Big Ten men’s soccer tournament title with a last-minute, 1-0 win over Penn State in Sunday’s final. The Buckeyes get an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, while Penn State, Indiana, Northwestern and potentially Michigan State can also stake claims to spots in the field of 48 (which will be announced at 5:30pm today on ESPNEWS).

It was a long weekend, but it was good to work with so many great people (that’s me with, left to right, Dean Linke, Chris Doran and Richard Broad; our producer Ken Neal and director Doug Wrenn are also tops in my book) and see old friends.

So that’s it for the season for me. Some other things in other sports and with other networks are possibilities. But for now, I’m down to just two jobs and that’ll be fine for the time being.
