My mom sent me this item from our hometown paper in Stroudsburg, PA:

Police are investigating the death of an East Stroudsburg man.

James Nations died Sunday, three weeks after he was found unconscious on a street in East Stroudsburg.

Most of the following information was gleaned from police reports and Lt. Brian Kimmins of the Stroud Area Regional Police.

Nations, 54, of Normal Street, was found unconscious by a passer-by Sunday, Nov. 16, at about 8:15 p.m. in East Stroudsburg. He was lying on his back in a crosswalk on Ridgeway Street at the intersection of Brodhead Avenue near Saint Matthew’s Church.

SARP Officer Steven Stout was dispatched and found Nations unconscious and unresponsive.

Stout observed a wound to the back right side of Nations’ head. He also said Nations appeared to be intoxicated.

Wolbert pursued the suggestions that a frozen turkey was used in an attack that ultimately took Nations’ life.

You thinking what I’m thinking? If they catch the guy, he should fry.
